Choosing a timeless black and white wedding theme was a perfect fit for Gracie and Grant, especially with the sleek backdrop of 14TENN’s modern venue.
Their classic summer celebration was adorned with delicate touches of white, green, and gold décor, creating an elegant atmosphere. The couple added personal flair with light-up letters, a reception dress change, and a memorable sparkler send-off.

Grant and Gracie met when she and a friend were looking for a place to live in Nashville. They were having bouts of bad luck, and a duplex with very little curb appeal was the last on the list.
The property that is now known as “Park Circle” boasted only 1 kitchen drawer, train tracks just a few yards from the back door, and a very VERY tiny bathroom for two girls and a dog. What Park Circle did have though, was a next door neighbor named Grant Rice.
Gracie’s landlord introduced her to Grant, which she admits was a bonus! The two became close friends over the six months after Gracie moved in next door, but one fateful October day changed everything.
Love and laughter filled the air ever since, and eventually Grant proposed with the ring around their pup’s collar at War Memorial Auditorium.
Once the couple booked 14TENN for their wedding, Gracie began to work with her planner, EL Events, to bring a simple, fun and neutral theme to life. Various shades of white, black and browns came together to create her vision.
The couple chose to splurge on photography and a wedding planner, and save on rentals and signage.
Gracie offers the following advice to future couples: “Do all you can in advance, do the signage yourself, and don’t compare your wedding to others! Also get a planner!”
