This exchange lead to David sending Katie his phone number, and having their first date at a local bar. This three hour rendezvous was filled with by comprehensive life chats, and undeniable chemistry.
As Valentine’s Day approached, Katie took a leap of faith and invited David over for dinner. He said yes, but little did she know, he had a trip planned to visit college friends in Florida, and canceled the trip to spend the day with Katie. (Awww!)
Choosing 14TENN for their Winter wedding was a natural decision for the couple. The couple lives in The Nations, where 14TENN is located, and appreciated the ease of attending planning meetings.
Their wedding color theme was ivory and emerald, which was accentuated by lush greenery and their own olive trees! To lean into the holiday season, David made a bold statement in a striking red suit, adding a touch of festive flair to the occasion.
The most important aspect for the couple was to bring their family and friends together for a lively celebration. During cocktail hour, guests were treated to the mesmerizing talents of a magician called Ramtin, who captivating everyone with his astounding card tricks.
In a nod to their mutual love of music – a passion also engrained in Katie’s career in the music industry – the couple opted for a creative twist on the traditional guest book. Vinyl records served as the canvas for guests to leave their heartfelt messages.
The night took an unexpected turn as Nashville found itself under a tornado warning. Undeterred, Katie and David remained calm, surrounded by loved ones and entertained by Ramtin’s magic, as they waited for the storm to pass.
