14TENN Open House: Something Borrowed, Something Blue

April 30, 2024

When it comes to showcasing elegance, creativity, and a touch of coastal charm, 14TENN’s Winter Open House truly raised the bar. Hosted on a Wednesday evening, the 14TENN Planning team along with our Epic Vendors crafted a stunning experience to share with our current and future clients.

The theme for this soirée was coastal blues. Shimmering shades of blue and refreshing coastal vibes were brought to life in 14TENN’s blank canvas. 14TENN Planner Kendall wanted to find a unique theme for this event, and blue is her personal favorite. “Blue is super popular among brides right now and I wanted to showcase how great this theme fits with our all-white venue!”

The planning process began with a visit to EventWorks, where the team discovered the new “Crush” line of rentals perfectly aligned with the coastal blues theme. Together, they curated a selection that set the stage for the event’s aesthetic. “We tied in a lot of the blue colors with linen choices and lounge furniture- especially since they had a blue couch and chair set that was perfect for the event,” said Kendall.

Along with the rentals, the 14TENN Planning team utilized 14TENN’s in-house draping, hedge walls, neon sign, photo booth, and black square arch. “This event’s style was unique since our planners had a full say in the design and all of the elements involved. Open house events are always so fun to show off our team’s personalities and eyes for detail!”

Floral arrangements were provided by Knestrick by Design, and included mostly white florals to complement the different shades of blue decor. Knestrick also brought in delicate ginger jar bud vases which echoed the tranquility of coastal living.

For refreshments, 14TENN Beverage created two specialty cocktails: A Peach Bourbon Smash & a Strawberry Martini! These fit the coastal/southern theme so well, and guests loved sampling these tasty beverages.

Southern Spoon provided a full grazing table and a variety of southern-inspired appetizers. Aphrodite Oysters also provided samples and an information booth for guests who envisioned a classic oyster bar for their event.

Interactive elements further elevated the experience, including a live painter who captured the essence of the evening, a bridal gown display, and 14TENN’s in-house photo booth. Guests were immersed in an atmosphere of creativity throughout the night and received tons of inspiration.

Beyond the aesthetics and the culinary delights, what truly made 14TENN’s Winter Open House a success was the spirit of community and collaboration. It was a showcase not only of our venue’s potential but also of the incredible talent within the Nashville events industry.
