Grace and John’s Nashville wedding at 14TENN was nothing short of magical, and we were thrilled to be part of their special day with our Partial Planning services. From their enchanting love story to the lively celebration, every moment was meticulously planned to perfection.
A Love Story That Crossed Continents
Grace and John’s journey began through a mutual family friend. Despite the immediate connection, life had different plans for both of them. Grace left to study abroad in Australia shortly after they met, while John later moved to Scotland for grad school.
Their relationship stood the test of time and distance, enduring two and a half years apart. Once they finally reunited and moved in together in Nashville, John proposed, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their love story.
Elegant Details and a Unique Celebration
Their wedding day was a seamless blend of elegance and fun. The couple opted to hold their ceremony at their church, which was perfectly coordinated by 828 Planning. Once guests arrived at 14TENN, the reception was filled with serene blues, sophisticated table details, and delicious food.
14TENN’s in-house hedge walls provided a beautiful backdrop for their seating chart, adding to the chic ambiance of the venue.
One of the standout moments was Grace and John’s decision to replace the traditional cake cutting with a champagne pour. 14TENN Beverage set up a stunning champagne tower, and the photos captured during this unique tradition turned out absolutely adorable.
Entertainment and Fun for Everyone
Grace and John wanted their wedding to be a joyous celebration for all their guests. They made sure to keep the energy high with an amazing band that got everyone on their feet. The highlight of the evening was when Grace and John were brought up on stage, creating a moment of pure joy and excitement.
The dance floor was a hit, thanks to the fun props Grace provided. Foam sticks and light-up sunglasses added a playful touch, making the dance party even more memorable. Guests also loved the custom koozies featuring the couple’s two golden retrievers, a special and personal favor that everyone got to take home.
A Perfect Day, Down to the Last Detail
Grace and John’s wedding wasn’t tied to a holiday or a typical weekend date, making it a unique and personal celebration. The most important element for them was ensuring that their guests had a fantastic time, and they certainly achieved that. The laughter, dancing, and heartfelt moments made it a day to remember.
The team at 14TENN and 828 Planning were honored to help bring Grace and John’s vision to life. Their love story is a testament to enduring love and the beauty of celebrating with those who matter most.
Congratulations, Grace and John! May your life together be filled with as much joy and love as your wedding day.
