Bella and Jeff’s love story began just down the road from 14TENN, during one of the most unprecedented times in recent memory: the Covid pandemic. Bella, (then) the Director of Football Recruitment at Vanderbilt University, and Jeff, the Special Teams and Tight Ends Coordinator, were introduced by a mutual friend. From that moment on, their connection was instant and unshakable. It’s only fitting that their wedding celebration would feel just as heartfelt, personal, and rooted in community.

A Courthouse Ceremony Followed by a 14TENN Celebration

The couple officially tied the knot at the courthouse on February 7, 2025, and the next day, celebrated in style with all their friends and family at 14TENN. As longtime residents of the neighborhood, the venue was a natural choice, not only for its proximity, but for its flexible, modern space that allowed them to make the day entirely their own.

Personal Touches and Planning Support from 828 Planning

Bella and Jeff worked with 828 Planning, 14TENN’s in-house planning team, to curate a custom full-service planning package. From vendor coordination to timeline management, the 828 Planning team brought their dream wedding to life with ease and expertise. While 828 Planning is based at 14TENN, the team also offers event planning services throughout Nashville.

The couple also utilized 14TENN’s in-house decor collection to create an elevated and cohesive look. Their design included elegant white draping, cheesecloth table runners, chic black and gold table numbers, and hedge walls that served as stylish backdrops for photos and décor. The final aesthetic: A timeless blend of white, black, gold, and greenery, completely stunning from ceremony to send-off.

A Day to Remember

The day was packed with memorable moments and heartfelt details. Bella and Jeff started the celebration with portraits on the front porch of their home, just a short distance from the venue. One of the most touching moments came during the reception when Vanderbilt’s own Coach Clark Lea gave a moving thank-you speech, highlighting the deep bonds of friendship and support that surrounded the couple.

Their first dance was performed live by their friend Charlie, who sang “10-90,” a meaningful song that captured the essence of their relationship.

Guests danced late into the night before sending the couple off with a joyful sparkler exit. But the celebration didn’t stop there; everyone continued the party at Midnight Oil, the couple’s favorite neighborhood pizza spot, capping off the night with good food and even better company.
